Paul Dumpleton head up our environment and sustainability team He has over 30 years of international experience in waste management, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. He has advised governments, municipalities, and businesses across Europe, North America, and Africa on building cleaner, more efficient waste systems.
Paul specializes in waste-to-energy infrastructure, advanced recycling, and circular economy strategies, with deep expertise in public-private partnerships, infrastructure investment, and environmental policy alignment. He has held senior leadership roles at leading environmental companies, including SUEZ, FCC Environment, Renewi, and EW Capital , managing complex operations and multi-million-pound projects.
Recent work includes Strategic roles on the Rivenhall (Essex) Energy from Waste project (£400m funding); the Viridor Tilbury Energy from Waste project ( £300m funding)) Technical Advisor to North Northants and West Northants Local Authorities for their waste disposal contracts (contract Value £400m), Sales of three waste related businesses; Ongoing development of one Energy from waste project in the East of England (£300m funding), Non Executive Director roles within the Waste Sector.
Paul is a former Chair of the ESA Resource and Recovery Committee, a UK delegate to FEAD, and an advisor to several government bodies on waste and recycling legislation.
